Served in a real pineapple shell, the golden, fragrant rice was packed with plump shrimp, crunchy cashews, and fresh veggies, all infused with a hint of sweet pineapple. That day, I accidentally hurt my toe while walking, and it swelled up so badly that I could hardly move. I casually asked her what medicine I should buy, and the next thing I knew, she had sent her staff to the pharmacy to get it for me… At that moment, I almost teared up. When you’re far from home, even the smallest act of kindness feels a hundred times bigger. I came here just for a good meal, but I left with my heart full. The ocean breeze in Koh Lanta is warm, but nothing beats the warmth of this place."

"Absolutely amazing restaurant! I have eaten in many places in Thailand since I arrived 20 days ago but this is definitely the best of all. Pad Thai simply fantastic with really good mix of spices. Panaeng curry coming from heaven. I already knew this restaurant as very good since I was here 5 years ago - but today my I was impressed even more. Ladies working there are nice and efficient. Prices are ok. Just go and try - you will not regret."

"2023: Back again after a hiatus. Snapper and fresh veggie spring rolls are best in the area! Amazing staff - Paeng is such a star! Remembered Ean from 3 years ago and it was so nice to see her again. 2025: Yet another return trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood (fresh snapper and sea prawns). They've renovated and the place looks better now. Lovely coconut and mango shakes (if you don't want any sugar, inform the staff when ordering). Met Darin/Alice the owner (and chef) and loved our little chat :-) Paeng was her usual fabulous self - Seagull got themselves an asset! Thank you and all the best"

"I ate here everyday for a week - breakfast, lunch, dinner. Everything was delicious. For breakfast the Thai rice soup is amazing and also the English and American breakfasts were very good. The coffee and mango shakes were great too. Everything in the menu tastes delicious. The service is great and the waitress is very friendly and helpful."
